Having chosen Isobel as our lead actress, we then had to choose both a male and female to help us out and act the rest of the video on the final day of filming.
We asked around, and two people agreed to be within the video. However, in the morning of the day of shooting, both dropped out, and therefore, we suddenly had a major issue in terms of actors. Naomi and I both spent the rest of the morning on the phone trying to get people prepared to give up a few hours of their time, but no-one was willing.
Unfortunately, we had no option but to include ourselves in the footage, in the hope that at some point, we could reshoot with other actors. This was a big disappointment, but we have redesigned the necessary parts of the storyboard to ensure that for the majority of the time, Naomi and I are both behind the camera, and at all times, at least one of us is filming.
Personally, I feel really let down and annoyed that it has had to come to this decision, but to make sure that we have some footage from the day we are planning to film, this is the decision we have had to agree upon.
