Naomi and I today got halfway through the project, and got to a point where all the flashbacks now make sense. This was a worry when we looked at it last time, but we now feel this all works, but this will become apparent when we have completed some feedback and assessment from our audience.
We used a handheld effect when shooting shots that looked like it was from the woman's perspective, and these have come out really well in black and white. What did let us down a little bit, however, was the dark lighting. It meant we had to play around with the colourisation of some shots in order to get them to flow.
The transitions also still need some work, but this will all take place during the final week of production.
