Naomi and I began the editing phase of the music video today. Due to there only being five available Apple iMacs, we are sharing with another group, so we won't be able to edit as quickly as first hoped.
The first thing we noticed was how grainy the footage was. This was the same for all groups, which means that it has to be the camera equipment, rather than something that we did. Lighting was a major issue for us, because of how dark we wanted each shot to be, so thankfully it came out quite well, and we only had to edit in some colour techniques on the shots occasionally.
With all the footage uploaded, today was spent sifting through the hour and a half that has been shot to find the takes and shots that worked well, and started placing them within the project. By the end of today, we only had 10 seconds of the project preliminarily completed, but had chosen the shots we needed for the whole video.
