Ancillary Task - New Digipak Flat Plan

Having decided to change our digipak idea at the last minute, Naomi and I quickly had to decipher a new plan and idea, and put it into action.

Below is our digipak flat plan, and we will begin proficient work on this over the coming days.

Digipak Flat Plan

We plan on using the same typography throughout the whole project, but are yet to choose some fonts, so this will be posted shortly. It uses our star image motif effect of the black and white phorography, with each of the insert images being black and white.

The front cover pieces together images of each part of the three people's face, to form one face. Each separate image is then printed on the inside of the digipak.

The back cover has the diary effect, as mentioned beforehand, alongside all the song titles and industry information. It will include a barcode, copyright information, websites, artist management, record companies and ways to contact the artist.

The final panel - the inside flap - shows an image of the stool on the floor, in full colour. This represents our house colours on this piece of work, and allows us to keep with each convention.

We feel we have kept with the genre of the artist using these techniques, and also by using subtle image manipulation, we will be able to create something slightly mysterious to the eye, and give the artist more of an image.
